At Iwaris, we take pride in offering the freshest and finest selection of African and Caribbean foods. Your satisfaction is very important to us. If you’re not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.


 

Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

  1. Perishable Goods (Fresh & Frozen Items):
    Due to health and safety regulations, we are unable to accept returns on perishable items (fresh produce, frozen foods, meats, etc.) unless the item is damaged, spoiled, or incorrect upon delivery or purchase. Issues must be reported within 24 hours of purchase/delivery.

  2. Non-Perishable Goods (Canned, Packaged, Dry Goods):
    Returns or exchanges are accepted within 7 days of purchase/delivery if the item is:

    • Unopened, unused, and in its original packaging.

    • Damaged or defective.

    • Incorrect item received.


 

Refunds

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you about the status of your refund.

  • Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 3-5 working days.

  • Delivery fees are non-refundable, except where the return is due to an error on our part (wrong/damaged items).


 

Exchanges

  • If you’d like to exchange an item (non-perishable only), we will gladly assist you based on stock availability.

  • For perishable items, we offer replacement or credit only if the issue was reported within 24 hours.


 

Ineligible Returns

  • Items returned after the return window.

  • Perishable items reported after 24 hours of purchase/delivery.

  • Opened or used non-perishable goods unless faulty.

  • Sale/Clearance items are non-refundable unless defective.

  2. For online orders, attach a photo of the damaged or incorrect item.

  3. For in-store purchases, present your receipt at the store.
